The Dunhill Early Morning Pipe comes very highly rated, but next time you go to Havana Manor in Longmont, ask for the Wessex Burley Broadcut. It's a mild Virginia-style English tobacco that is cheaper than Captain Black at King Soopers.

I have decided to sufficiently and permanently reduce my tobacco intake. I am not a real smoker and many may laugh at this, but it is because I am not a real smoker that I can say it. (Tristan pay attention these are perhaps guidelines we'll have to follow during writing sessions) I hereby declare that pancakes (RA speak for cigarettes) shall be limited to:
-The post show experience, no more than three per function. If two nights in a row, none on the first night no more than three the second night. If three or more shows in a row none on the first night, one on the second night ("strive for none clause), and no more than two ("strive for one clause") every night thereafter after proper vocal assessment.
-Partying, and only if that party does not have a show approaching within three days of the party. Quantities at parties shall be deemed no more than a half pack at that party. If partying two nights in a row the quantity should be limited to a quarter pack on the second night after proper vocal assessment. If partying three nights or more in a row there shall be no smoking on the third night unless there is no show, or other event, for at least a month and the quantity is limited to no more than the default quantity of three a night thereafter. Also you should probably asess things after three god damn nights of partying, or we'll have to make anther one of these for other things, and yes I've done it, more than it.
-Post practice, only if the practice is not followed by a show within three days and only after proper vocal assessment. Quantity shall be limited to three per function For two nights/days in a row the quantity shall be limited to one the first night and the default quantity of three the second night. For three or more functions in a row the quantities shall be limited to one per day until the last day when it shall be limited to the default quantity of three after proper vocal assessment.
No other band functions or non band functions shall warrant permission of pancakes.
No pancakes shall be smoked in a day before 5:00pm
Notes: "The default quantity"- Refers to a max pancake quantity of no more than three pancakes over the course of that night.
"That night"- The night shall be considered to start no earlier than 5:00pm and shall occur only after shows, never before them. The night shall be considered over once retired for the evening.
"Proper vocal assessment"- refers to an assessment both on my part and by all members of "the band" on my vocal performance prior to pancake initiation, and my estimated abilities to continue to vocally perform the very next day post pancake in a performance situation regardless of performance status the next day. All instances allowed only after proper vocal assesment.
"The Band"- Refers to : -Sean Murray -Tristan Bonser -Paul Klinger Jr. -Dave Digiacomo
The "Strive for one clause"- applies to instances in which more than one are allowed but really one or none should be smoked. In these instances though more than one are allowed a stringent vocal assesment and consequence assesment should be preceed the second or higher pancake(s). Heavy resistance should be used in theses instances.
The "Strive for none clause"- same as the "Strive for one clause" only in this case try not to smoke any.
These only apply to me personally, but note particular members straying makes for difficulty in personal aversion. Be helpful meng!"Its good for you man, good for you...man, good for YOU, man!" Dave Digiacomo exempt due to "real smoker" status.
This may be amended after proper voting procedures which include all four members of the band and shall necessitate a three to one vote. I know it sounds utterly ridiculous, especially to real smokers, but its something I have to do. It is believed by Tristan and I that tobacco products need not become a heinous addiction if used as an occasional treat. The instances for these occasional treats were drastically increasing at the expense of my vocal consistency so I thought to lessen the instances and limit the quantities. As a singer I know it seems ridiculous to even smoke at all, but I enjoy it, many singers are smokers including David Coverdale, Don Dokken, and even Matt Wheatly, dude, four hours a night, four nights a week, gimme a break! If he can surely I can have a few. Also I swear it seems to relax me and I actually sing better the next day after very limited quantities. Anyhow ya think it'll work? There ya go world a very inside look at Rightfully Accused! (so not-rock I know)

I was looking online, and Prince Albert, the old drugstore standby, has been consistently rated with 4 out of 4 stars. I smoked some a few months ago and wasn't that impressed, but all these hardcore pipe aficionados were going off about its high quality. I'm going to have to give it another try. Last I remember, it was like $3 a pouch.

some sites suggest cleaning your pipe by letting it sit overnight with kosher salt and rubbing alcohol in the bowl. To me, this imparted a terrible taste after a while. Yesterday I did the same thing, only with kosher salt and Jack Daniels, let it sit all day yesterday and all night, and gave it some time to dry this morning when I dumped out the mess. It now smokes cool, sweet, and stays lit. Hooray bourbon!

www.pipesandcigars.comyou can get pretty awesome deals there -- like bulk early morning pipe, $20 for 8 ounces. That's awesome considering captain black is $5 for 1.5 ounces at the grocery store.
